Day 86 – March 5, 2011

This morning, it was raining.. I checked the forecast and it was supposed to clear up. I didn’t want to go to the gym, but once the sun came out, then I was all for it!

Pavement was wet, but it had cleared up!

I did “Blackout,” a nutrition mini seminar, and Flirty Girl dance class.. it was a lot of fun! As soon as I came out of the dance class, I went to get my stuff and CR was calling. After I picked up my stuff from home, I went to her house so we could go to the hiking meetup.

Turkey Creek Nature Trail

It was a 2.5 mile loop. The weather was prefect for it and I was really glad I had brought my hiking boots as there were wet rocks that we had to step on to cross the creek.

After the hike, CR and I went to Lululemon and both got a black Speed skirt and I got a top my sister was looking for but was sold out online.

I went home and took a nap, shortly after I woke up, I got a text from SJ asking if I wanted to meet up for drinks as he was in town for the weekend. Since I had decided against going to Salsa night with the girls, I was up for going out for a bit. I got home and went to bed.. I was exhausted!

Day 58 – February 5, 2011

This morning, I woke up Β at 8:45 and I should’ve almost been out the door to get to Stephanie’s class so I could set up. I went in the classroom at 9:20 and there was hardly any equipment left.

Everyone was already set up...

Luckily, I got what I needed and I was ready for Pump! The class was great (as per usual) and my legs felt like jell-o for hours afterwards. I went to Ulta where the manager wasn’t very friendly — it wasn’t my fault last week’s manager sucked and charged me for something she should’ve been giving me money back for… and it’s also not my fault that even though signs say “clearance” with a low price, at the register, they’ll charge you full price. Anyway… I went home and the cats wanted me to let them out. I was too tired and we reached a compromise

I opened the window for them so they could still get fresh air

After my nap and talking to you on the phone ( πŸ˜€ ), I let the cats out onto the balcony, and even though it was sunny, the ground was too cold for Dusty. I knew exactly what would make him happy

And I was right.. he could enjoy the sunshine and his paws wouldn't get cold!

Naturally, someone got curious and decided to investigate

Hey.. what are you doing?!?

Yeah.. the brat. He eventually left Dusty alone.

In the evening, I went over to EE’s for the pre-Carnaval “party” which was more along Β the lines of people getting ready for Carnaval. I thought that if I went, I might regret my decision of not going, but that wasn’t the case. I helped EE with her makeup, CS with her corset, chatted with CF {we’re thinking of doing P90X in the mornings starting on Tuesday — I committed to a week, not 90 days πŸ˜‰ } and chatted with other people. One girl from the meetup group that we’d never met before went and had 2 people meet her there. I also played photographer, and here’s the group shot I got {I didn’t get the unknowns lol}

EE got crafty and made her costume and CR rented hers.

I went home, chilled for a while, and went to bed at a somewhat decent hour πŸ˜€ No excuses to skip Yoga tomorrow!

Day 53 – January 31st, 2011

Today, it was back to work. Yay!! πŸ˜‰

I went to the Post Office to drop off your package πŸ˜€

And off the little box went...

After work, I went to the gym and warmed up around the lake–had to take advantage of the weather before it gets ugly! I also attended Pump class.

Ready for a workout!

I needed groceries, so I grabbed a smoothie and headed to the grocery store!

Mmmm HEB donuts! Didn't get any though

POOP!! Yay for grade 3 humour! It's really not poop.. it's peanut butter πŸ˜€

Tomorrow, it’s going to get really cold!

Day 34 – January 12, 2011

This morning, I had a very hard time getting up — I had less than 6 hours of sleep after getting everything ready. My boss told me to order room service and we should meet at 7:30.

I ordered a smoked salmon bagel, strawberries, and orange juice.

This is what a $40 breakfast looks like!

We went to the gym and we got there around 8:30am. We started to take out the equipment and I took photos while my boss videotaped details of the gym.

You can see my boss's reflection in the mirror

Another shot of the gym

Behind the speed bag was the big ring

Once we had everything we needed, we waited for the VPs to arrive. We were going to film them as they drove up.

Ready for action!

Once we got the shots outside, we went inside to explain to the VPs what they were required to do. The gym’s owner’s dog wanted to be apart of the video too!

Johnny Cash πŸ˜€

After we were done filming, we went back to the hotel and tried downloading the videos. I was missing some cables and a hard drive. Β We went downstairs to try to help MB (VP’s admin) with name tags as today was the official check-in date for the reps. There was another conference around the corner and people kept stopping at our table with name tags, so we had to keep pointing them in the right direction. My boss & MB got sick of it so they made a sign with the company’s name.

Hitchin' a ride!

I had to get a pic of it because it was so ghetto lol.. A hotel employee came to set up a proper sign with a frame so people would know this was not their table. They still stopped at our table…

My boss and I went to the office to pick up the hard drive but I was still missing cables… We called the front desk and they transferred me to the IT department and they brought me one cable but it wasn’t the right one. We decided to leave it and maybe come back to my apartment to get the cables after dinner.

The attendees were divided by Lines of Business for dinner and we were given the option of whose team to join. We joined the group that had some people from operations including my boss’s old boss. We went to the Belmont and I had the rib eye. It wasn’t that great — the apps were much better. I had a pounding headache all evening, but we went out for drinks with the rest of the group anyway. We were only there for a little bit as my boss didn’t feel like being social either, and we had plans to drive out to Ft. Hood at 6:30am the next day.

Tomorrow’s when we get to have fun!
