Day 122 – April 10, 2011

This morning, I woke up and my throat hurt so badly 😦 After a while, I made a trip to the grocery store and picked up some cold survival essentials:

White bread, Ritz crackers, Tropicana OJ and generic brand Chloraseptic

Boy was I exhausted after that short trip! Definitely need more rest. Since I was chilling on the couch, playing Wario on the 3DS, I figured I should update the photos on facebook… I’ve been uploading the pix here, but not on FB and everyone’s been complaining.

2 months worth of photos to upload

It was finally done.. but by that time, it was way late. I started editing photos from the last week, but it’s early bed time due to work tomorrow! Can’t believe I got sick over the weekend 😦 No sick days for me because I have a short week as it is and I’ve got so much work to do before Thursday.

Day 55 – February 2nd, 2011

Today, I spent pretty much the whole day cooped up inside… I don’t have the proper winter attire here so I wasn’t going to venture out when it felt like 8F. Because it was a cold morning, I wanted to have something for breakfast that would make my tummy happy…

Oatmeal with wheat germ, shredded coconut, and peanut butter

It was so good that Eddie wanted to get in on the action.

Mmmm.. oatmeal! I'll help with the dishes!

He jumped on the sink and I caught him with some coconut on his nose (but when I was able to try to get a pic, it was gone!)

I also made some cinnamon tea… but it turns out that I used too much cinnamon…

It made the apartment smell really good anyway

For lunch, I made an awesome sandwich with turkey breast, pepperjack cheese and avocado. I had cucumber with lime juice and Tajin for my veggie.

Mmmm.. avocado

I decided I wanted to replay the Simpsons Hit & Run game… that game was the reason I got back into Nintendo. Back in 2003, I saw this commercial…

and of course, the end got me.. Who wouldn’t want a game with a dancing Evil Homer?! I said to my mom, “I want a Game Cube and that game for Christmas!!!!” anyway.. I did get it and the rest is history 😉
